I’ve been watching lots of Gelli® Plate printing videos on YouTube to get ideas for how to use my Gelli® plate. It’s amazing what you can do!
This time, I cut the paper down to a smaller size, so that I can use the designs for greeting cards. I had seen Tara Axford make partial prints, by placing the paper at a jaunty angle on the Gelli® plate – so I gave that a go.
I also tried using a doylie as a stencil and scratching a design in the paint, using an old credit card that I had cut up using pinking shears – you have to be careful not to dig the points into the plate, though, otherwise it leaves a permanent scratch.
