Wisteria in Barnes, West London

Come for a walk with me along the Barnes Trail, mentioned in the guide book with a difference, “London Villages” by Zena Alkayat. There seems to be a real sense of community in Barnes – always something going on.

I’m already looking forward to the Fringe Festival 18-23 July!

  1. Beautiful! And that wisteria…. sigh….. I’d have never guessed this was London! Please, please compile your London photos and short videos into an online video insta-ebook of some description on your site. If I’m ever brave enough to visit, I think the Villages book you mention above would be a great place for me to start, to ease myself in. Either that or hire you as a tour guide! 😉 Love the new theme, by the way, and what we have in common never ceases to make me smile; Amadeus is actually one of the ones in my ‘clean themes’ collection, where I’ve spent more time hacking and coding this last month than I have writing. There’s something so satisfying about watching photos and words breathe with clarity if the theme’s nice and airy. This theme and the instagram widget set off your work beautifully.

Thank you Janice – glad you like the new theme, Instagram widget and latest video! “An online video insta-ebook”… Hmm, I hadn’t thought of that (not quite sure how to go about doing one, but I’m sure I’ll come up with something!) I think the Villages book would definitely be a good place to start, if you visit London – or, as you say, get in touch and I can show you round! 🙂
