I’ve visited The Wallace Collection twice this year – in March with a friend, and again at the end of May to take more photos of all the exhibits I missed.
The Wallace Collection is a national museum at Hertford House, a historic London town house in Marylebone.
There are 25 galleries displaying works of art collected in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries by the first four Marquesses of Hertford and Sir Richard Wallace, the son of the 4th Marquess, including French 18th-century paintings, furniture and porcelain, Old Master paintings, and a world class armoury.
It’s taken me a while, due to illness, but at long last I’ve edited together a short film of The Wallace Collection (below).
